Collective Team
We are constantly engaged with these developments, and maintain an ongoing programme of research and development in hotels which varies from concept design to full scale mock-ups – exploring everything from new models of hospitality to prefabrication, digital design and the impact of lighting and acoustics on interiors.
We are regular delegates at a number of the major annual hotel design and development conferences and have an established network of developers, investors, agents and consultants.
We have published thought leadership articles in design and trade publications such as the Architect’s Journal and New London Quarterly and have presented our research and experience at trade and design shows such as The Sleep Event, Top Hotel Projects and Vision London.
As part of our Hotels R+D programme we asked ourselves, as designers and as guests, what we considered to be the most interesting emerging developments, challenges and opportunities in hospitality today
This research was distilled into a series of ten ideas for the future of hotel design, which we launched at the IHIF conference in Berlin – ‘Ten Propositions for the Future of Hotels’.
Our strong research and development drive enables us to stay ahead of market trends and identify and address key market and sector specific challenges as they emerge, and we were awarded the commission to design a concept guestroom at the Sleep Hotel Design Expo and Conference in London in November 2016.
We are able to offer architecture, master planning and interior design services within the hospitality sector and have a highly skilled design team with experience both in the UK and internationally, including Continental Europe and the Middle East.
Recent clients include Reignwood for the new Four Seasons Hotel and Apartments at Ten Trinity Square in London; Morgans Hotel Group at The Sanderson and St Martin’s Lane Hotels in London, and Aldar for a proposed new build hotel and interior on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. We are currently exploring opportunities for new hotels on a number of sites in London and the UK.
