We have completed a number of workplace design projects for this California-based technology company in the UK, Italy and Spain.
Our most recent project for them converts a tired and poorly-branded space within a business park campus into an attractive and welcoming IT help desk – the ‘pIT Stop’ – to front of house as the heart of a communal collaboration hub with cafe and alternative work settings.
The retail design ambience of the environment and the high quality of support service encourages staff to bring in their mobile-working devices, discuss technical issues, upgrade their systems and understand new technology devices and services. The audio visual system is loaded with interactive video games to encourage staff to come into the facility and the adjacent cafe brings an energy and buzz to the area.
Our design creates an informal all day amenity where staff can feel comfortable while working and meeting with their colleagues. There are a variety of seating areas providing choices for high and low benches, booths, lounge seating and a working ‘kitchen table’.
The exposed services, timber and feature lighting are specifically designed to appeal to a tech-savvy and mobile workforce and specifically to not look or feel like a traditional workplace.
