What are Smart Buildings?

The technical systems that run modern premises are at the heart of Smart Buildings: intelligent, sustainable, connected spaces that optimise energy efficiency, enhance the user experience, and redefine the future of the built environment.

Smart Buildings have a variety of sensors which collect data relating to energy usage, heating, occupancy, device security, parking and more. This can be as simple as adjusting lighting and heating in empty rooms, to protecting elevators from cyberattacks or creating a complete digital twin of the building.
