Major refurbishment and expansion of the London Clinic’s acute facility on Harley Street in central London

We were appointed by The London Clinic, the premier private hospital with facilities on and around Harley Street, to provide architectural services for the proposed redevelopment of their flagship facility.
The project included the full refurbishment of the existing building, and new extensions to provide state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment facilities.
The redevelopment includes a new reception hall, lifts, new operating theatres and an atrium, to create a central ‘heart’ for the clinic unifying all elements of the hospital, and additions and modifications to the exterior.
We provided the following services: feasibility studies, architectural and clinical briefing, clinical planning, concept design and scheme design for the phased redevelopment and interior design.
When complete the project will provide an unequalled healthcare facility in keeping with The London Clinic’s long-standing reputation for excellence, incorporating the latest technologies in a comforting setting for patients and staff.
The design will also significantly enhance the exterior of the building, contributing to the improvement of this unique and sensitive area of the city.
